The building was previously chock full of crack and meth users dealers and their whores Real white trash dealers like corey the john and Stefanie r denis who were tossed out of the building and forcibly removed from the property if they returned The president of the condo board that allowed this illegal activity to occur was turfed as well As this changed so has the building We suspect the negative reviews previously posted here were the sour grapes of those who were evicted or forced to sell their unit

Building location is awesome Really close to DT and 17th AVE as well walking distance from different grocery stores and C train station Save 300 month on DT parking or 100 month on transit pass Save 1 hour day in commuting time priceless

Owned in this unit for a decade love the location and as of November 1 2014 there has been a change in Property Management The property management now in full swing is continuously improving what I though was good to begin with is a giant overhaul From changing the gates recycling replacing all of the lighting in the stairwells better contractors for landscaping and cleaning New Bylaws owner accountability hands on communications and swift management problem solving I am stocked to be part of a community where I know most of my neighbors and owners take pride in who they rent to

Where to start I lived there for 5 very very long years and it wasn't a great experience The condo owners are mostly gerks There are ALOT of mentally ill alcoholics and or pot smokers I also noticed the screaming and fighting in the suite on the main level with the Rottweiler The man I think his name is Jimmy screams at this wife regularly Very verbally abusive He is a few bricks short of a load as well He kept leaving threatening letters to tenants on doors in the apartment complex Saw him with black eyes on occasion and it didn't surprise me at all because I ve seen him screaming at tenants and just people passing by his condo I m shocked he hasn't been kicked out yet The elevator is always broken construction is constant and dogs run freely without leashes inside condo hallways and outside It is dangerous as most dogs are not well behaved and jump on people It's a 500 fine to anyone who is caught having a dog off leash so please report anyone you see not putting their dog on a leash I saw many many homeless and one even got into the downstairs building doors where the garbage is and was master bating by the bin Not a safe place to live

Just writing to try and balance out all the terrible reviews I ve lived here almost 3 years and really haven't had any problems Have never noticed loud construction noises except when the ground floor fences were being built over 2 years ago which sucked for a couple weeks but was definitely worth it in the long run A few of the tenants are interesting The couple on the ground floor do fight fairly often but I ve never had a problem with them their rottweiler is friendly and gets along great with our dog There were a few partying tenants over the years but they don't seem to last long A few bad things include the elevator breaking on a fairly regular schedule We simply don't use it but if we lived on the top few floors I could see that being a problem The laundry facility sucks and the washers are fairly regularly broken It's expensive and a few tenants seem to take hours to empty their dryers Also the security gates in the back are sticky and don't always unlock on the first attempt Some maintenance issues could be dealt with a bit quicker such as broken doors and washing machines The location is great however and our rent is exceptionally cheap so we have to take the bad with the good Overall it's great value for us and we don't plan on moving out any time soon

This building was great the first time I moved there It has an amazing location within walking distance to the c train downtown 17 avw SW It wasn't until the 4 th month of living there that I realized I was in trouble There's a guy on the main floor with his g f who had a large Rottweiler He is an alcoholic and frequently is in physcial and verbal fights with other tenants and even people who walk by his condo doors I saw him screaming at a woman downstairs who had walked by his condo window It quickly escalated to her pushing him and him threatening her He is fighting with his live in g f all the time I could hear screaming regularly from their appartment He threatened me on occasion and I am very non confrontational so I just walked away Across from him is a man who has a absolutely filthy condo I saw inside and the floor was literally covered in dirt He looks like he never showers and has very long not well kept hair He smokes pot on a regular basis too To me it looks like he is mentally impaired and may have a mental illness that needs attending to He also threatened me on occasion and as I am non confrontational I just walked away and called the police There are some normal tenanats and owners but it's rare as most party until all hours of the night and couldn't care less about who they wake up The police take hours to break up the party's Construction in condos is never ending
