Reviewed onThis building is very well built and well maintained The building is very conveniently located being just six minutes away from the downtown city core and steps away from local amenites and conveniences such as the PNE Donald's Market and New Brighton Park Located conveniently close to public transit as 4 7 14 16 and 135 buses are all within a 5 minute walking distance Best part of living in this building is the variety of restauarants all within a 5 minute walking distance There are Chinese Vietnamese Malaysian Japanese Central American Thai Malaysian Polish and Mediterranean sitdown and takeout restaurants all nearby As a person who also owns a penthouse unit I do agree that the penthouse units provide an absolutely spectacular view of the water downtown skyline and the north Shore mountains

Reviewed onI live in a south facing penthouse in this building The views of the Burrard Inlet and of downtown Vancouver were superb The building is close to the Templeton pool toonie days Monday Wednesday and Friday as well as close to Donald's Market and many restaurants in the Hastings Sunrise area The Hastings Public Library is a 5 10 minute walk away Transit is very close by with bus stops for the 10 16 135 7 210 and 211 buses within a 5 minute walk The location of the building makes it convenient for people either working downtown or at SFU to take transit to work The Union Street bicycle route is also located nearby the View Condo building which is convenient for people looking to bike to downtown There are several schools located nearby Macdonald Elementary School Nelson Elementary School Hastings Elementary School and Templeton Secondary School are all located close by The only downside to this building is where it is located Although the area is improving occasionally transients will hang out in the alley in the back of the building Prospective new owners should consider that although gentrification is occuring in the Hastings Sunrise area this neighbourhood does not have the squeeky clean feel of Yaletown The neighbourhood reminds me of what Commercial Drive was like 5 years ago It is a safe neighbourhood with many neat restaurants nearby However one should expect to occasionally see transients
