Been living here 12 years and still love the location Back of the building overlooks a forest and creek and is like living in a cabin in the woods Out the front door is beautiful downtown Coquitlam with virtually everything you'll ever need within walking distance Sky Train is one block away and the bus stops just steps from the back door Really a great place I ll be here another 12 years As for rules and such the bylaws are strictly enforced and there is NO SMOKING anywhere on the property except INSIDE your own suite Balcony smoking is not allowed Pets are welcome max 2 cats or 1 dog and there is VERY limited rentals allowed This building is not recommended for investors because we have a very long and slow moving rental wait list Amenities include a small exercise room hot tub and underground car wash bay We also have a Canada Post parcel locker to reduce your need to pick up parcels at the post office The building's interior decor is a little dated but we've got more important ways to spend our money right now Updating the decor is on council's radar though and will happen in the next few years The building itself is structurally sound and doing well for its age Currently our strata fees are comparable to everyone else on the street In closing The Jefferson is a great pair of buildings on a great street in a great area Highly recommended
