I purchased a unit in the Bole Ave building pre construction as an investment Shortly after closing on the unit it became evident that there was a lot of illegal and or disruptive behavior taking place on the property We the owners where disgusted by the lack of respect exhibited by many not all of the tenants for themselves their neigbours and the owners We owners met with and wrote to the property management company to no avail We formed an owners committee in an effort to bring awareness to all of the owners and to resolve the problems Within a very short time we enlisted the assistance of the City of Chilliwack and the Crime Free Multi Housing Program hired security 24 7 at considerable expense to the owners replaced the under performing property management company voted in a new and very proactive strata council and eventually hired on site building managers also at considerable cost to the owners While I do not live in the building I do have occasion to attend the property and more recently stayed in my unit over a long weekend On these occasions I am happy to say the building was both quiet and clean Which is not suggest that the property is without problems but the reality is there is only so much we owners can do At some point the tenants have to take some responsibility Speak up the owners are receptive Provide a written account of the problems you hear and or obesrve so we can act on them Thank you

yes they are afforable and nice inside But be prepared for constant drug deals stabbings or fights and good luck getting a decent sleep loud music shaking the walls at all hours the security is a joke since they can not do anything and by the time the police arrive that is a whole nother story the only people that give this place any positve reviews are the owners trying to get the hell outta here and their real estate agents If anyone says otherwise their full of it

Lived here awhile and nothing but the smell of pot and dog crap no management or clean up in the building cops might as well live there Some people have good luck here but don't realize that most of their neighbors are either drug dealers addicts or pedophiles This place is going to be a run down ghetto fast unless they do something about it

What a shame this building has bad reviews on this site I hope potential renters owners will investigate for themselves I have lived here now for 8 months and it could not be better It is very affordable The apartment is bright clean and I have an in suite washer and dryer for very reasonable rent Have not had any noise problems or any problems

I would stay away untill they reinstate the security full time again They without telling anyone cut the security to only 2 days a week A snowmoble was stolen from the secure parking under the building Doors kicked in Dog crap all over the place People smoking in hallways and putting them out on the carpets I totally feel sorry for the owners who are unable to sell the apartment that they own My landlord got stuck with a unsellable apartment and now it stuck They also don't follow the landlord tenancy act A friend moved out 2 weeks before the end of her tenancy and they went into her suite and stole food and drinks from her apartment Supposedly she had abandoned her place LIE BE very carefull and while some areas are ok in the newmark be very aware of lack of security

When the building first opened a couple years ago there were problem tenants but it's very much a different complex today There is NEW MANAGEMENT a new rental manager and the building is a great place to call home There is security cameras private entrances without keys etc
